married for 43 years to Nancy whom I met when I was a third yr md student at KU. Two children- Scott 38, civil engineer in Wichita (named for Mr. Scott from Star Trek). Scott is a senior level civil engineer who works at WSP in Wichita. Kelli has a Masters in Social Welfare. She works at Save,Inc a governmental agency that assists people who have social issues in finding them housing and other assistance. She is 41, named after the young girl I took care of in Med school where my wife and I met. Nancy taught Spec Ed at Belton High School for 20 years before she retired three years ago. I retired from Family Medicine in 2018 after 39 years of practice. We have a ten year old granddaughter Charlotte, who will be a fifth grader at Valley Park Elementary where both her mom and uncle went to grade school. I currently spend my time volunteering at a Food Pantry at the church that I have been a member of for 43 years. My sister Janice is a retired school teacher who has lived on our father's family farm near Tonganoxie. |
